Styling products.
Start with the finish you want.
Thirty-eight products, and they sort into four jobs: hold (wax, gel, spray), volume (mousse, powder), texture (sea salt) and finish (shine spray, perfume mist). Pick the job first — most styling disappointment comes from using a hold product where a texture product was needed.

A flexible detangling brush for wet and dry hair. The pins sit on a 3D flexi base that gives as it meets a knot instead of dragging through it, which is where most brushing damage happens — wet hair stretches and snaps far more easily than dry.
Who it's for: long, fine, curly or tangle-prone hair, and anyone detangling a child's hair without the argument.
How to use: start at the ends and work upwards in short sections, never from the roots down. On wet hair, use it after a leave-in conditioner or detangling spray so the pins glide rather than pull. It also works for smoothing and blow-dry styling.
What you'll notice: knots come apart with far less force, and less hair left behind in the brush. Rinse it out every few weeks — product build-up on the pins is what makes a brush start to pull again.
Made for use with the leave-in spray from the Milk Therapy collection.
A volumising hair mousse enriched with milk protein. Most mousses build volume and dry the hair out doing it; this one conditions while it lifts, so fine hair gains body without the straw texture that comes from styling foam alone.
Who it’s for: fine or limp hair that needs root lift, and anyone who has stopped using mousse because it left their hair feeling dry and crispy.
How to use: shake, dispense a golf-ball-sized amount into your palm and work it through damp roots and lengths, then blow-dry, lifting at the root with your fingers or a round brush.
What you’ll notice: volume that lasts the day with a soft, brushable finish — hold you can run your hands through.
Styling side of the Milk Therapy line — the shampoo and mask handle the care side.
A hair perfume mist that scents without the alcohol dryness of a body fragrance. Ordinary perfume sprayed on hair strips moisture and dulls the surface; this one carries milk proteins alongside the fragrance, so the hair is conditioned lightly while it is scented.
Who it's for: anyone who wants their hair to smell good between washes, and anyone who has been spraying regular perfume on their hair and noticed it going dry.
How to use: mist over dry, finished hair from about 20 cm away, or spray onto a brush and run it through. Use it on second- and third-day hair instead of reaching for dry shampoo when the only problem is scent.
What you'll notice: a soft, clean fragrance that lasts through the day and a light shine on the surface.
Scent layer of the Milk Therapy line — no cleansing or conditioning action.
A finishing hair spray with ultra strong hold — the last step, not the first. Where mousse builds the shape while hair dries, hair spray locks the finished style in place and keeps humidity from undoing it. The fine mist sets without the wet, crunchy shell that heavy sprays leave behind.
Who it's for: updos, blow-dries and structured styles that have to survive weather, wind and a long day out.
How to use: hold the can about 25–30 cm from dry, finished hair and spray in short bursts, moving as you go. Spraying too close in one spot is what makes hair stiff — distance is what makes it hold and still move.
What you'll notice: the shape stays exactly where you put it, and brushes out at the end of the day without flaking.

Mega Hold is the strongest wax in the Ossion barber range, made for hair that does not cooperate. Thick, coarse, unruly or fast-growing hair that shrugs off ordinary wax within an hour — this holds it. It grips hard enough for extreme shapes and full-day wear while still finishing with shine rather than a dry, powdery look.
Who it's for: thick and unruly hair, dramatic volume, and anyone who has tried strong waxes before and watched the style drop anyway. On fine hair it will be more hold than the hair needs — Medium or Extra suits that better.
How to use: a pea-sized amount is enough even for thick hair. Warm it fully between your palms until it turns clear, then work through dry hair section by section. Build in layers rather than applying it all at once.
In the range: Mega is the top of the Ossion hold scale — Medium → Extra → Ultra → Mega.
A firm, reliable hold in a water-based gel wax with a natural shine — strong enough for structure, light enough to stay comfortable.
Who it's for: short to medium hair and everyday styles that need to stay put through work and weather, on hair that finds the strongest formulas too heavy.
How to use: a small amount on dry hair, warmed until clear between the palms, then worked through from the back forward. Reshape with damp fingertips during the day if you need to.
What you'll notice: hold that lasts without stiffness or flaking, and hair that still moves. Washes out with shampoo and water.
Extra strong hold with a clean, high-shine finish — the everyday member of the Morfose gel wax range. Water-based, non-greasy, and it does not leave the white flaking that alcohol-heavy gels do.
Who it's for: normal to thick hair and styles that need real hold without going fully rigid. A good starting point if you are not sure which strength you need.
How to use: a pea-sized amount on dry hair, emulsified in your palms first, then worked through and shaped. Build up in layers rather than applying a lot at once.
What you'll notice: definition that holds without the helmet feel, and no residue on the scalp. One ordinary wash removes it.

Who it's for: spikes, quiffs and defined shapes on normal to thick hair — anything that needs to stay exactly where you put it.
How to use: a pea to hazelnut-sized amount, rubbed between your palms until clear, applied to dry hair. Shape while it is still tacky; once it sets it holds.

A brilliantine-style wax for slick, high-shine classic styles — the finish barbers use for side parts, pompadours and combed-back hair. Pliable rather than rigid, so the comb keeps moving through it all day.
Who it's for: short to medium hair and any style where the comb lines should show. If you want texture and a matte finish, this is the wrong end of the range.
How to use: a small amount warmed between your palms until it turns clear, worked evenly through dry hair, then combed into shape. Add gradually — brilliantine goes heavy quickly.
What you'll notice: deep shine and a smooth, controlled shape that stays reworkable. Use a clarifying shampoo now and then, since shine waxes build up faster than water-based ones.
Unlock Luminous Radiance with Every Spray
Your hair is a reflection of your vitality, but daily exposure to environmental stressors, heat styling, and chemical treatments can leave it looking dull, tired, and lifeless. It’s time to restore its natural brilliance. Inspired by the rich botanical heritage of the Mediterranean, Morfose has created the Hair Shine Spray, a transformative finishing mist designed to instantly breathe life and light back into your hair. This is more than just a gloss; it’s a wellness ritual that veils every strand in a weightless, mirror-like shine, giving you a healthy, head-turning glow that lasts all day.
The Science of Shine: The Morfose Difference
What makes our shining spray so effective is its intelligent, dual-action formula. At its heart is a curated herbal complex, a blend of botanical extracts selected for their unique ability to nourish the hair and enhance its natural reflective properties. Unlike heavy, oil-based sprays that coat the hair and weigh it down, our formula uses advanced, feather-light polymers. These create a micro-fine, breathable mist that settles weightlessly onto the hair shaft.
This invisible veil works in two ways: first, it seals the hair cuticle, creating a perfectly smooth surface that locks in moisture and eliminates frizz. Second, its light-reflecting particles capture and diffuse light, producing a multi-dimensional, vibrant shine that looks completely natural. The result is a luminous, non-greasy finish that feels as good as it looks—touchably soft, full of movement, and radiantly healthy.
Experience the Transformation
- Instant, Mirror-Like Radiance: Watch as dull, lackluster hair is transformed in seconds. A few quick sprays are all it takes to achieve a brilliant gloss that catches the light beautifully, whether you’re under the sun or in the spotlight.
- Weightless Frizz Control & Polish: Say goodbye to flyaways and unruly texture. Our formula provides the perfect level of control to create a sleek, polished look without the stiffness or stickiness of traditional hairsprays. Hair remains flexible and full of life.
- Nourishment in Every Mist: At Morfose, we believe that true beauty comes from health. That’s why our shining spray is infused with nourishing botanicals that care for your hair, helping to protect it from daily damage while enhancing its shine.
- Versatile Finishing Touch for All: Whether your hair is straight, wavy, or curly, this spray is the ultimate final step for any hairstyle. Use it to add glamour to an updo, define curls with a healthy sheen, or give straight styles a flawless, professional finish.
Your Ritual for Radiant Hair
- Activate: Shake the bottle well to ensure the active herbal ingredients are perfectly blended.
- Apply: After styling, hold the bottle about 10-12 inches from your dry hair and mist evenly from mid-lengths to ends.
- Reveal: Allow a moment for the mist to set and reveal its brilliant, glossy effect.
Pro-Tip: For a more subtle, all-over glow, spray a light mist onto your hairbrush and then brush through your hair. This ensures even distribution for a flawless, natural-looking shine.
Morfose Hair Shine Spray: Your final step to flawlessly radiant hair.
A deep-hold water-based gel wax made for hair that shrugs off lighter products. Thick, coarse and heavy hair needs more grip to stay shaped, and this is the one in the range built for it.
Who it's for: thick or coarse hair, longer styles that need weight and control, and anyone who finds normal wax gives up by midday.
How to use: warm a generous amount between your palms until it runs clear, then work it through dry hair from root to tip so the weight is distributed evenly rather than sitting in one place.
What you'll notice: control that lasts through the day on hair that usually resists it, with shine rather than a matte finish. Rinses away cleanly.
The strongest hold in the Morfose hair mousse range. Made for thick, heavy or stubbornly straight hair that shrugs off ordinary mousse — the kind that looks great for an hour and then drops completely flat.
Who it's for: thick or heavy hair, high-volume blow-dries, and styles that have to survive a full day and an evening.
How to use: shake well, work a generous amount through damp hair from roots to ends, then blow-dry with a round brush, lifting at the root. On fine hair this will be more hold than you need — Extra Strong suits that better.
In the range: Extra Strong → Ultra Strong. Same lightweight, non-sticky base; more staying power.
A volumising hair mousse with extra strong hold, built for hair that needs real lift at the root and keeps losing it by lunchtime. Worked into damp hair before drying, it sets around each strand as the hair dries, so the volume comes from structure rather than from product weight sitting on top.
Who it's for: fine to medium hair that falls flat, and blow-dry styles that need to hold their shape all day.
How to use: shake, dispense a golf-ball-sized amount into your palm and work it through damp roots and lengths, then blow-dry — lifting at the roots with your fingers or a round brush.
In the range: extra strong sits below Ultra Strong. Choose this one if you want lasting volume that still brushes out softly; step up to Ultra Strong if your hair drops within a couple of hours.

Matte Hold is the shine-free option in the Ossion barber range. It gives the same barber-grade control as the shiny waxes but leaves no gloss at all, so the hair reads as thick, textured and freshly cut rather than styled. That makes it the natural choice for messy crops, textured fringes and the undone-but-deliberate looks that shine actively works against.
Who it's for: anyone who wants control without looking like they used product, and fine hair that needs the visual thickness a matte finish creates — shine flattens fine hair, matte does the opposite.
How to use: warm a pea-sized amount between your palms, then work it through dry hair with your fingers, pushing upward at the roots for texture. Skip the comb — combing removes the separation that makes a matte style work.
In the range: Matte holds around the same strength as Medium and Extra, with the shine removed. For a matte finish with more grip, pair it with Ossion Hair Styling Powder at the roots.

What is actually in it
Most sea salt sprays are water, salt and a hold polymer. Read the full list on this one and there is more going on. Sodium chloride sits second, so the salt is not a trace amount; VP/VA copolymer sits third and is the film former that holds the shape you scrunch in. After that come three hydrolysed proteins — corn, wheat and soy — four seaweed extracts (Codium tomentosum, Ecklonia cava, Gelidium cartilagineum, Hizikia fusiforme) and five mineral ferments carrying copper, iron, magnesium, silicon and zinc.
Glycerin, propylene glycol and butylene glycol are in there as humectants. That combination is the point: salt pulls moisture out of the strand, and those are what stop the finish going brittle. There are no silicones in the formula.
This one or the Morfose version?
Same formula, different scent. Ingredients one through twenty-nine match the Morfose Sea Salt Spray label exactly — same salt level, same VP/VA copolymer, same three proteins, four seaweeds and five mineral ferments. The Ossion version is finished with cedarwood (acetyl cedrene) and patchouli over the shared citrus top notes, which is where the warmer, woodier barbershop scent comes from.
If you want the same texture without the woody finish, take the Morfose one.
How to use
Shake. Mist over damp hair, work it through with your fingers and either leave it to dry or rough-dry on low for more lift at the root. On short and mid-length men's cuts two or three passes is usually enough; go heavier for a messier, more separated finish. Pairs with a matte wax or clay if you want hold on top of texture — see men styling products.
Sea salt spray questions
Do you put sea salt spray on wet or dry hair? Damp is where it works best — towel-dried, not dripping. On soaking hair the salt dilutes and the VP/VA copolymer cannot form a film, so you lose the grip. On bone-dry hair you get texture but less shape.
Is salt spray damaging for hair? Salt draws moisture out, which is why a spray that is only salt and water leaves hair feeling like straw. This one carries glycerin, propylene glycol and butylene glycol as humectants plus three hydrolysed proteins, which is what keeps the texture from turning brittle. It still is not a leave-in conditioner: if your hair is already dry, use it on the mid-lengths and follow with a leave-in.
Should you use it before or after other products? First, on damp hair, before cream or oil. Anything with a film or an oil on it coats the strand and the salt then has nothing to grip.
How do you get the most texture out of it? Spray in sections, scrunch with your hands rather than combing, and let it air-dry or rough-dry on low. Brushing it out afterwards removes the grit you just built.
Ultra Hold is built for shapes that must not move. Pompadours, quiffs, high volume on top, sharp partings that need to look the same at 9pm as they did at 9am — this is the wax that holds them. The grip is strong from the first application, but the wax stays workable long enough to build the shape before it sets, and it finishes shiny rather than dull or chalky.
Who it's for: structured, high-volume styles and hair that tends to collapse by midday. Also the right choice if you use a hairdryer to build volume and need something to lock it in afterwards.
How to use: warm a pea-sized amount until clear, then apply to dry hair — this wax needs dry hair to reach full strength. Build the shape first with your hands, then use a comb for a sharper finish.
In the range: Ultra is the second strongest — Medium → Extra → Ultra → Mega. Step up to Mega only if your hair is thick and genuinely fights back.
Four jobs, and what does each
Every product below is linked to its own page, where the full ingredient list is published.
| If your hair… | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Hold that stays put all day | Ultra Aqua Wax — red$14.95 | Water-based, so it washes out with shampoo and can be reworked with damp hands. The firmest of the three colour-coded aqua waxes. |
| Hold, but softer and touchable | Super Aqua Wax — orange$14.95 | The everyday level. Enough structure for a normal day without setting hard. |
| Volume in fine or flat hair | Collagen Mousse$19.95 | Collagen and silk protein for body. Built for hair that volumising products usually weigh down. |
| Volume with the longest active list | Supreme Volumizing Mousse$20.95 | Biotin, collagen, panthenol, aloe, zinc and nettle. The one to pick if you want the mousse to condition as well as lift. |
| Gritty, undone, beachy texture | Sea Salt Spray$19.95 | Texture rather than hold. On damp hair for waves, on dry hair for grip. |
| Roots that need lift at the last minute | Ossion Styling Powder$18.95 | A matte powder you tap in at the roots. Works on hair that is already dry and styled. |
| Style has to survive the day outdoors | Supreme Finishing Spray$19.95 | Strong hold finishing spray, with the same active base as the Supreme mousse. |
| Hold without the stiffness | Quinoa & Hemp Spray$19.95 | Flexible hold with quinoa, hemp seed and panthenol. For hair you still want to move. |
| Dull, rough-looking ends | Shine Spray$19.95 | A finish, not a treatment. A light mist from a distance — too close and it goes greasy. |
| Flyaways and edges | Hair Wax Stick$13.95 | A stick you apply straight to the hairline, so no product ends up on your palms. |
| You want the scent to last, not the hold | Milk Therapy Perfume Mist$24.95 | A hair fragrance, not a styler. Nothing to wash out and no hold. |
| Detangling before you style anything | Detangling Brush$14.95 | Flexi-pin brush for wet hair. Styling starts here: hair you tore through wet will not hold a style well. |
The order to apply things
Most styling problems are sequence problems, not product problems.
On damp hair
Mousse and sea salt spray go on towel-dried hair and set as it dries. Applied to dry hair they do very little.
On dry hair
Wax, powder and pomade go on after drying. Emulsify wax between your palms until it turns clear — straight from the tub it clumps, and clumps look greasy.
Last
Hair spray and shine spray finish the style. Anything applied after them sits on top of a set surface and will not distribute.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between wax, gel wax and pomade?
In this range the aqua waxes are water-based gel waxes: they wash out with shampoo and can be reactivated with damp hands. The brilliantine is the pomade — shine-led rather than hold-led, for combed styles rather than textured ones.
Why does my hair look greasy after styling?
Almost always too much product, applied without emulsifying. Start with a pea for short hair, rub it between your palms until it turns clear and warm, and work from the back forward so the front gets the least.
Can I use mousse and wax together?
Yes, and it is the normal way to build a style. Mousse on damp hair for volume, dry it in, then wax on the dry hair for definition. The mistake is putting wax on wet hair, where it dilutes.
Which products wash out easily?
All the aqua waxes and the mousses are water-based and come out with one shampoo. The brilliantine and the oil-based pomades may need a clarifying wash.
