Two systems, and where to start
Keratin rebuilds protein. Bond repair reconnects the bonds broken by bleach. They are not the same job and badly damaged hair usually wants both.

The order that actually repairs
Doing these out of order is the most common reason a repair routine seems not to work.
Bond repair first
If your hair is bleached, the bond treatment comes before the protein routine. Rebuilding protein on top of broken bonds gives you stiff hair that still breaks.
Then protein, weekly
Keratin mask once or twice a week. More often is not faster — over-proteined hair goes rigid and brittle in its own way.
Protect every wash
Leave-in on damp hair, heat protection before any hot tool. Repair that is undone on Tuesday by a flat iron is not repair.
Cut what will not come back
Split ends cannot be rejoined by any product, including these. Trimming them is what stops the split travelling up the shaft.

About this collection
Damage is structural. Bleach, permanent color and repeated heat break the protein bonds that hold a strand together, and once enough of them go the hair stretches, snaps and refuses to hold a style. Conditioner alone cannot fix this — it smooths the surface while the inside stays hollow. The keratin shampoos, masks, two-phase conditioners and mousses here put protein back where it is missing.
Keratin is the closest match to the hair's own structure, which is why it is the backbone of this collection. Use the mask weekly, not daily: hair can be over-proteined, and too much makes it stiff and brittle in a different way. Between masks, the two-phase leave-in protects against the heat that caused the damage in the first place.

What is the difference between dry hair and damaged hair?
Dry hair is short of moisture and oil: it feels rough but it stretches and recovers. Damaged hair has lost protein and broken bonds: it snaps, it feels spongy when wet, and it will not hold a style. A rich conditioner fixes the first. Only protein and bond repair address the second.
Can split ends be repaired?
No. Nothing rejoins a split — products can smooth the surface so it looks and feels better, but the split stays and keeps travelling up the shaft. Trimming is the only thing that stops it.
How often should I use a protein treatment?
Once or twice a week. Protein is not something more of which is better: hair loaded with protein and short of moisture becomes rigid and brittle. If your hair starts feeling straw-like, cut back and use a moisturising mask instead.
How long until damaged hair feels better?
Feel changes from the first use, because these products also condition. Structural improvement is gradual and only holds if the cause stops — heat without protection, or another bleach, will undo it faster than the routine builds it.
