Extra strong hold with a clean, high-shine finish — the everyday member of the Morfose gel wax range. Water-based, non-greasy, and it does not leave the white flaking that alcohol-heavy gels do.

Who it's for: normal to thick hair and styles that need real hold without going fully rigid. A good starting point if you are not sure which strength you need.

How to use: a pea-sized amount on dry hair, emulsified in your palms first, then worked through and shaped. Build up in layers rather than applying a lot at once.

What you'll notice: definition that holds without the helmet feel, and no residue on the scalp. One ordinary wash removes it.

Smells like chemicals

I don't have the highest standards in the world for hair products, so I'm not the harshest judge. But what I expect is for the product to live up to the description the people selling it write about it, at least 75% of it anyway. They describe this as having a "Fresh, Subtle Fruity Scent". I don't know what kind of fruit these people eat but when I opened this product and took a whiff to enjoy the "fruits" of their labor it smelled like an asian nail salon without a ventilation system. This stuff smells like straight up chemicals. I let it air out a bit thinking maybe that would help. It didn't. I ran some through my fingers and the texture felt ok, not the strongest product I've ever felt, but it gave me at least 50% confidence it had strong hold. But I threw it in the garbage because the smell is something that I would never, ever want to smell even if I spent the day by myself and I definitely wouldn't want anyone else to smell it if I was around them. It's that bad. I would return it but because of where I live it's too much of a hassle. So I just chucked it. I have no idea how this thing has so many good reviews.

A suggestion on the product

Product holds hair very well but I think the producer should tip a little dark color in it because it gets white after a few hours. That’s the only problem I have with it but I’m still using and will not stop unless a competitor comes with the perfect one.

4c hair texture must buy!!

I love this product. It lays ur hair done without weighing it down. Great for edges or everyday hair styles. Good for men and women. I use it on my hair and as well as my son and husband dreads. Its leaves no white residue no matter how much u use it has a great hold so u only need to use a small amount. I have 4c hair texture but I believe it’s good for all hair texture. Try this product first time I brought it in the Bahamas this is my second order and it’s the exact same product

ITS AMAZING!!!

Love it so much!!! I was looking for something to hold my baby girls hair since its so thin and short and this was it ... Hey hair stays put all day!!! And the smell is pleasant will deff buy again not to mention i also stated to use it and love it all my baby hairs i have an issue with stay nice and put!!! This is my favorite product for my hair!

This purple one is not my favorite scent but this stuff works great on my hair! Braids look old? slap some of this on in a small amount and a scarf for a couple minutes and you snapped back to salon fresh! Great for making my baby hair pop and fly aways gone! They use this on my hair in Jamaica 🇯🇲 that’s how I learned about it. Just wish I can find the blue one that smells like bubble yum! The purple and red don’t but the red smells amazing too!

Best Gel Wax ever!

Does the job nicely

Easy to use, easy to control. I wanted a gel that would help with tucking short hair behind ears, but also still be able to pull some of that hair out to partially cover my ears. I also put a small amount on hands to help texturize all of my short haircut. Works great, affordable, smells like bubblegum upon application (pleasant enough) but no worries, scent does not linger. Good stuff. I will buy this again.

This is the best!

I first purchased this product at a salon and immediately loved it. It holds great and all day. Your hair does not have to be completely wet to use. After I shower I towel dry my hair but leave it lightly damp. I apply about less than a quarter size of the gel and spread it in my hair with my fingers. I comb/brush it to style and from there it stays all day. When I shower it comes right off being that it’s water based. I’ve purchased Morfose about 3-4 times and will continue to buy it. And it smells pretty good too!

Reviewing just the size and smell

Haven't used product I put it on my hair but I already had the Old spice fiber wax on it so cant really review it, but it's alot bigger than everyone was saying I expected it to be way smaller it's not I'll update this after using it on my hair

Disappointing Packaging and Scent

I bought this hair wax thinking it was in a metal tin, but sadly this product had plastic packaging. I wasn’t a big fan of the bubble gum scent, but overall this hair wax did the job by holding my hair style without any residue.

Works great

Product works really good, this gray and white one smells like bubble gum. This product would be great for teenage boys and not older men in their 40s. This product is much bigger then expected, it's hard to gauge how much product you get in the pictures they display.

Doesn’t keep edges down

I purchase this with the hopes that it would keep my edges laid. It does not . At all. Ever. I have used it multiple times because it does give them a sleek look. But before 30minutes is up. It’s as if I never did my edges

Best Wax for Braiding Hair

This wax is by far the best for braiding hair. It leaves the edges smooth without leaving any residue behind. As a bonus your hair will benefit from the moisture so you can wear a cute twist out for a day after taking your braids out.

Hold? Shine?

This product had great reviews so I felt confident trying it...and I know a natural hair journey means trying many different products to see what works best for you. I have 4c fine hair and this did hold for about an hour...but my hair at the edges (where I applied it) curled. Additionally, the finish was dull...and that was a deal breaker...unfortunately. It may work for you but it didn't for me.
