Are You One of Our Winners?
Hair loss and thinning.
What a cosmetic can honestly do, and what it cannot.
We are going to be straight about this. Shedding has many causes — genetic, hormonal, nutritional, medical, stress — and none of them is treated by a shampoo. What a scalp product can do is clean without irritating, keep the scalp in good condition, and make the hair you have look fuller. If you are losing noticeably more hair than usual, the useful next step is a doctor, not a bottle.

A biotin shampoo built for hair that has gone fine, flat and fragile. Biotin is the B-vitamin your hair's keratin is made from, and this formula delivers it at the scalp with every wash, alongside panthenol and wheat protein that coat the shaft and give thin strands measurable body.
Who it's for: fine or thinning hair that falls flat by midday, hair that snaps when you brush it, and anyone whose density has changed after illness, stress or childbirth. It is gentle enough for daily washing and safe on colour.
How to use: work a coin-sized amount into a wet scalp and massage for thirty to sixty seconds — the massage matters as much as the formula. Rinse, and repeat if you have not washed in a few days. Follow with conditioner from the ears down only; conditioner at the roots is what flattens fine hair.
What you'll notice: more body at the root within two or three washes, and less hair in the brush over the following weeks as breakage drops. Density changes run on the hair growth cycle, so judge that after about three months of consistent use.
Is biotin shampoo actually good for hair?
For the hair you already have, yes. Biotin supports keratin, and a biotin shampoo puts it directly on the scalp along with the circulation boost of massage. It reliably makes fine hair look and feel thicker by adding body to the shaft. What no shampoo can do is regrow hair from a follicle that has stopped producing — that is a medical question, not a haircare one.
What are the side effects of biotin shampoo?
Topical biotin is well tolerated and is not absorbed in amounts that affect blood levels — unlike biotin supplements, which can skew thyroid and cardiac lab tests. The usual issue with any shampoo is scalp sensitivity to fragrance or preservatives rather than the biotin itself. Patch test if your scalp reacts easily, and stop if you see redness or itching.
Which biotin shampoo is best for hair growth?
Be sceptical of any shampoo sold on growth. A shampoo sits on your hair for a minute or two, and growth happens inside the follicle. What a good biotin shampoo does is reduce breakage, so hair reaches a longer length before it snaps — which looks like faster growth and is a real result, just not the one the marketing usually claims. Look for biotin high in the ingredient list, panthenol or protein for the shaft, and a base gentle enough to use often.
What shampoo is best for hair loss?
It depends on whether you are shedding or losing. Shedding — more hair than usual after stress, illness or childbirth — responds well to a biotin shampoo and a calm scalp routine, and it grows back. Pattern hair loss, where the part widens or the hairline recedes, is hormonal and needs a dermatologist; shampoo supports the hair you have but will not change that course. If you are unsure which you have, that is worth asking a doctor before spending months on products.
How often should I use it?
As often as you wash. This is a daily-safe formula. If your scalp runs dry, alternate with a moisturising shampoo and keep this one for the washes where you want body.

A sulfate free, salt free biotin shampoo. That matters more than it sounds: sulfates strip the scalp’s own oils, and a stripped scalp is exactly what fine and thinning hair does not need. This one cleans with a gentler surfactant system and carries biotin to strengthen fragile strands from the root.
Who it’s for: fine, fragile or thinning hair, sensitive scalps, and anyone with colour or a keratin treatment they want to keep — sulfates fade both faster.
How to use: lather through wet hair and massage the scalp for a minute before rinsing. It lathers less than a sulfate shampoo; that is the formula working, not a lack of it.
What you’ll notice: hair with more body at the root and a scalp that stops feeling tight after washing. Salon size, 33.81 fl oz.
What is on this page
A small collection. The wider scalp and biotin ranges linked below have more to work with.
Niacinamide, zinc gluconate, salicylic acid, panthenol, aloe and sodium hyaluronate — a scalp formula rather than a strand one, and sulfate free. It cleanses and conditions the scalp; it is not a medical treatment for hair loss.
What is worth doing
Be gentle while it is wet
Hair is weakest wet. Detangle from the ends upward with a wide-tooth comb rather than dragging a brush from the roots, and you will keep hair that would otherwise have broken.
Keep the scalp clean but not stripped
A congested scalp is not a good environment for growing hair. Neither is one that is washed aggressively every day.
Cut back the heat and the tension
Tight ponytails, braids and daily high heat all cost you hair that had no other reason to leave. This is the part entirely within your control.
See a doctor about the cause
Sudden or patchy shedding, or a receding line, has a cause worth identifying — and some causes are treatable with things a cosmetic cannot replace. That is a medical question.

About this collection
Thinning hair is rarely one thing. Strands get finer, the scalp gets more visible, and shedding increases — often all at once, and often gradually enough that it is months before it registers. The scalp shampoo and concentrated serum here work on the root end of that: reducing shedding, strengthening weak follicles and giving fine hair more apparent density.
Consistency is what makes the difference. The hair growth cycle runs in months, not weeks, so give any routine at least three months before judging it. Apply the serum to a clean, dry scalp and massage it in rather than letting it sit on the hair. If shedding is sudden, patchy or heavy, see a dermatologist — these products support a healthy scalp, they do not treat a medical condition.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between hair shedding and hair loss?
Shedding is losing more of your normal 50–100 hairs a day, usually triggered by stress, illness, childbirth or a diet change, and it grows back. Hair loss is follicles producing progressively finer hair until they stop — that is genetic and does not reverse on its own.
Do shampoos for thinning hair work?
They reliably make existing hair look fuller by adding body and cleaning the scalp so follicles are not blocked. They do not regrow hair from dormant follicles. Any product promising that is overselling.
What ingredients should I look for?
Biotin and keratin for the hair shaft, caffeine and herbal extracts such as nettle for the scalp, and a sulfate-free base so fragile hair is not stressed further during washing.
When should I see a doctor?
If you are losing hair in patches, seeing a widening part or receding hairline, or shedding heavily for more than three months. Early treatment makes a real difference with hair loss, and shampoo is not a substitute for diagnosis.
