Deep conditioning masks.
For hair a normal conditioner no longer satisfies.
A deep conditioner is the same idea as a rinse-out conditioner with two things changed: a richer base, and longer contact time. That combination is what lets it do more than smooth the surface. It is also why it is a weekly step rather than an every-wash one — used constantly it leaves hair coated rather than conditioned.

Fine hair has a conditioning problem: most repair masks fix the damage and flatten the hair in the same step. This collagen hair mask is built the other way round. Natural collagen restores elasticity so strands hold their shape instead of collapsing, and the vitamins repair the surface damage that makes fine hair look dull.
Who it's for: fine, flat or limp hair that is also dry or brittle — hair that needs conditioning but loses all its body the moment it gets any.
How to use: after shampooing, work through towel-dried mid-lengths and ends, leave for three to five minutes, rinse well. Keep it off the roots; that is where fine hair goes flat. Once or twice a week is enough.
What you'll notice: softer, smoother lengths that comb through easily, with visible shine — and hair that still moves.
Morfose Metamorfose Pure Detox Hair Mask is a salon-grade hair mask for oily hair and scalp. It treats while salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid work on the strand itself.
Why it works
- Concentrated On Purpose. A weekly deep treatment for oily hair and scalp. The 2.5 Fl. Oz. tube is small because a walnut-sized amount once or twice a week is the dose — five minutes of salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid does what two minutes of conditioner cannot.
- Clarifies Without Stripping. Five minutes on the scalp lets salicylic acid work down into the follicle while hyaluronic acid hydrates the lengths — the two halves of the same problem, in one treatment.
- Made For Oily Roots. Built for roots that go greasy a day after washing, often with dry ends. Longer contact lets salicylic acid and hyaluronic acid diffuse past the surface — that is the whole difference between a mask and a conditioner.
- The Weekly Deep Step. Metamorfose Pure Detox is a 3-step range and this is the once-or-twice-a-week treatment. The same actives run through all 3, so nothing you use undoes the step before. Pair it with shampoo and two-phase conditioner.
Who it is for
Roots that go greasy a day after washing, often with dry ends. All hair types, women and men.
How to use
On washed, towel-dried hair apply a walnut-sized amount to the lengths. Leave five minutes, rinse.
Ingredients
Aqua, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Stearyl Alcohol, Distearoylethyl Dimonium Chloride, Salicylic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Potassium Hyaluronate, Glucose, Acetic Acid, Caprylyl Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Polyquaternium-37, Silicone Quaternium-17, Laureth-4, Laureth-23, PPG-1 Trideceth-6, 1,2-Hexanediol, Bis-(Isostearoyl/Oleoyl Isopropyl) Dimonium Methosulfate, Propylene Glycol Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Cetrimonium Chloride, Phenyl Trimethicone, Citric Acid, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Magnesium Nitrate, Magnesium Chloride, Parfum, Citronellol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Linalool, Tetramethyl Acetyloctahydronaphthalenes

Morfose Metamorfose Glossy Touch Hair Mask is a salon-grade hair mask for dull, weak, brittle hair. It treats while ceramide 3 and glycolic acid work on the strand itself.
Why it works
- Concentrated On Purpose. A weekly deep treatment for dull, weak, brittle hair. The 2.5 Fl. Oz. tube is small because a walnut-sized amount once or twice a week is the dose — five minutes of ceramide 3 and glycolic acid does what two minutes of conditioner cannot.
- Gloss That Holds Through Washes. Ceramide 3 needs minutes to settle between the cuticle scales rather than sit on top of them. Longer contact is why the shine lasts several washes instead of one.
- Made For Hair That Lost Its Shine. Built for dull, brittle hair that has stopped catching the light. Longer contact lets ceramide 3 and glycolic acid diffuse past the surface — that is the whole difference between a mask and a conditioner.
- The Weekly Deep Step. Metamorfose Glossy Touch is a 4-step range and this is the once-or-twice-a-week treatment. The same actives run through all 4, so nothing you use undoes the step before. Pair it with shampoo, conditioner and two-phase conditioner.

Morfose Metamorfose Moist Boost Hair Mask is a salon-grade hair mask for dry, lifeless hair. It treats while hyaluronic acid and collagen work on the strand itself.
Why it works
- Concentrated On Purpose. A weekly deep treatment for dry, lifeless hair. The 2.5 Fl. Oz. tube is small because a walnut-sized amount once or twice a week is the dose — five minutes of hyaluronic acid and collagen does what two minutes of conditioner cannot.
- Hydration That Lasts Days. Five minutes gives the smaller hyaluronic acid molecules time to get past the cuticle, where surface hydration cannot reach, and hydrolysed collagen fills the gaps it escapes through.
- Made For Hair That Won'T Hold Water. Built for dry, dehydrated hair that drinks water and goes flat again within the hour. Longer contact lets hyaluronic acid and collagen diffuse past the surface — that is the whole difference between a mask and a conditioner.
- The Weekly Deep Step. Metamorfose Moist Boost is a 4-step range and this is the once-or-twice-a-week treatment. The same actives run through all 4, so nothing you use undoes the step before. Pair it with shampoo, conditioner and two-phase conditioner.

Morfose Metamorfose Bond Care Hair Mask is a salon-grade hair mask for damaged, breaking hair. It treats while hydrolysed keratin and amla work on the strand itself.
Why it works
- Concentrated On Purpose. A weekly deep treatment for damaged, breaking hair. The 2.5 Fl. Oz. tube is small because a walnut-sized amount once or twice a week is the dose — five minutes of hydrolysed keratin and amla does what two minutes of conditioner cannot.
- Five Minutes Inside The Strand. Hydrolysed keratin has to diffuse into the cortex to rebuild anything, and diffusion takes minutes. A conditioner is rinsed before it gets there — a deep mask is not.
- Made For Hair That Breaks. Built for bleached, heat-styled or over-brushed hair that snaps mid-length. Longer contact lets hydrolysed keratin and amla diffuse past the surface — that is the whole difference between a mask and a conditioner.
- The Weekly Deep Step. Metamorfose Bond Care is a 5-step range and this is the once-or-twice-a-week treatment. The same actives run through all 5, so nothing you use undoes the step before. Pair it with shampoo, conditioner, two-phase conditioner and hair serum.

Which base for which hair
The four Metamorfose masks are 2.5 fl oz and the cheapest way to test a base before buying a full-size jar.
| If your hair… | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Dry, dull, lost the way it used to feel | Milk Therapy Mask$34.95 · 16.90 fl oz | Hydrolysed milk protein with glycerin. The default for dryness rather than damage. |
| You want the most actives in one jar | Supreme Deep Conditioning Mask$34.95 · 16.9 fl oz | Collagen, biotin, aloe, zinc, nettle and caffeine. The longest ingredient list of the seven. |
| Fine and flat, needs body not oil | Collagen Mask$34.95 · 16.90 fl oz | Collagen for hair that is fine by nature. A rich oil-based mask on fine hair produces limpness, not volume. |
| Damaged, snapping, bleached | Bond Care Mask$12.00 · 2.5 fl oz | The keratin-based Metamorfose line. For structure rather than moisture. |
| Dry, and you want to test before committing | Moist Boost Mask$12.00 · 2.5 fl oz | Collagen with sodium hyaluronate. The moisture-focused Metamorfose base. |
| Healthy hair that just looks flat | Glossy Touch Mask$12.00 · 2.5 fl oz | Shine-led rather than repair-led. The one to pick when nothing is wrong except the way it catches light. |
| Congested scalp, roots go flat fast | Pure Detox Mask$12.00 · 2.5 fl oz | Salicylic acid with sodium hyaluronate. This one goes on the scalp — it is the exception on this page. |
Getting the most out of a deep conditioner
The two things that matter are how wet the hair is and how long you wait.
Squeeze the water out first
A rich mask on dripping hair is diluted before it starts. Wring it out, then apply.
Mid-length to ends
The ends are the oldest hair and need it most. The roots make their own oil and go flat under a rich mask.
Follow the time on the pack
Hair takes up what it will take up in those minutes. Leaving it on for an hour changes nothing except your evening.
Rinse longer than feels necessary
Under-rinsed deep conditioner is the usual reason hair feels coated and goes limp the next day.
Not quite what you needed?
About this collection
Seven masks, split by how long you want to commit.
The jars, 16.9 fl oz. Milk Therapy for dry hair, Collagen for fine flat hair, Supreme for heavy damage — hydrolysed collagen with biotin, niacin, ceramide NP and caffeine. Five minutes, once or twice a week.
Metamorfose, 2.5 fl oz, $12. Four single-use sachets, each built on one active: Pure Detox (salicylic acid), Glossy Touch (ceramide 3 and glycolic acid), Moist Boost (hydrolysed collagen and hyaluronic acid), Bond Care (hydrolysed keratin and emblica officinalis).
If you are not sure which your hair needs, the sachets are the cheap way to find out before committing to a jar.
Frequently asked questions
What makes a mask ‘deep conditioning’?
A richer base and longer contact time than a rinse-out conditioner. That is genuinely all — there is no separate category of ingredient. The practical difference is that it is a weekly step rather than an every-wash one.
Can I use a deep conditioner instead of my normal conditioner?
In the wash where you use the mask, yes — it replaces the conditioner that time. On the other washes, go back to your normal one. Using a deep conditioner at every wash mostly produces coated, limp hair.
Does heat help a mask work better?
Warmth opens the cuticle slightly, so a warm towel or a shower cap can help a little. It is a marginal gain, not a requirement, and it is not worth applying direct heat for.
How do I know if my hair needs protein or moisture?
Stretch a wet strand gently. If it stretches a long way and does not spring back, it needs protein. If it snaps almost immediately with little stretch, it needs moisture. Hair that feels straw-like after a protein mask has had too much protein, not too little.
